Everything You Want to Know About Me: Mukund Kapoor
Last Updated on February 28, 2022
Well, I am neither famous nor a wonderful writer, but I will do my best to tell you all, about myself. So hold yourself tight because I am going to take you on a ride where you’ll know everything about me.
I will try to tell you as much as possible about me and my life.
Who Am I?
My name is Mukund Kapoor, the meaning of my name is Lord Krishna. I am a 19 years old Indian guy born in Lucknow, a city in Uttar Pradesh, but brought up in Ghaziabad(another city in Uttar Pradesh). I live in a family of five, which includes me, my mom, my dad, my sister, and the love of my life, Brandy, my cute little Golden retriever.
My father is a software engineer, and my mom is a homemaker.I am a Hindu from birth, but I love to know and read about many other religions because they teach the same principles at the end of the day. I shifted to Ghaziabad when I was In 3rd standard with my parents and, honestly speaking,g I think that was the best decision because I love it here.
My Qualification
I just passed 12th grade from Fatima Convent School in the commerce stream. I am an average student, but I love to know about everything I can because that’s my favourite thing to do. I recently got admission to IMS Ghaziabad College in Ghaziabad. I opted for Bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication, well I have not planned to choose this field, but I love to know many things about many things. This field fascinated me, and YES! I am happy.
I am a content writer and I write on spirituality, basic finance for students, career guidance, and mindset. I have gained knowledge and expertise in these topics by reading books, articles and taking courses from different sites.
My Hobbies and What I love to do
I am more of a cheerful and optimistic person, which is why I love to spend my time doing creative things. I mean to say I love painting, sketching, singing, dancing, reading books, listening to podcasts, watching inspiring and educative videos.
Well, I am more of a spiritual person, and that’s why I love reading spiritual books and reading the Bhagavad Gita. I also love reading stories of ancient history because the lessons I learn from those stories remain with me and help me become a better person. I have watched Mahabharata, Ramayana, and many biographies about legendary people.
My Artworks
Well, I’ll show you some of my paintings.
This Painting is the one that I love the most because I made this painting by using a knife and cotton buds.
Well, this painting is originally by wowartchannel. This is a YouTube channel, and you can follow him on.Instagram.
P.S. No promotion. I just love his art.
You can just guess by seeing this painting of Marilyn Monroe. I love abstract art, and so I tried to paint her on a canvas of 8×10.
I just splashed the paint all over the canvas and tried to draw a vector art of hers.
This was my first watercolour painting. One day I was scrolling my Pinterest and saw a wonderful art of Lord Krishna, and I decided to draw him.
Well, I was not confident enough, and I doubted myself if I will achieve it or not. But I think that’s why I love art; it builds your confidence when you do it.
I tried, and then I painted it.
Though this painting has many mistakes, I gave it my 100%, and I was thrilled when I completed it. It didn’t matter to me if it was perfect or not. What matters to me was that I can do something by believing in myself. The truth is, I am also not sure if I can write a blog or manage it well. But I am trying and giving it a shot expecting nothing. I will be happy if you all support and guide me on this journey.
My Favorite Books
If anybody asks me what my favourite books or which books have shaped me as a person are, my answer would always be the same.
My two most favourite books are:
I recommend you all these two books. It will change your mentality and will shape you as a person. These are my favourite books and will always be.
I will share my learning from these two books with you in another blog post.
What Brought me Towards Spirituality?
I am a God-loving person since my childhood. I grew up watching lord Ganesha and Hanuman movies which I think accumulated my interest in God.
This is a truth that belief does not grow in you instantly or in one day; it grows gradually, and that’s what happened to me.
My interest in spirituality increased because of my mom and dad also. My father started meditation 5 years ago, and my mom is also a very god loving person as there was never a day when she didn’t pray to him.
All the happenings in my life, whether good or bad, increased my faith in God. But one day, my father told me to read Bhagavad Gita once, so I gave it a shot. I read one chapter per day and felt changes in my thought process.
I am more of a doing person, so I practised in my life whatever I read.I saw big changes in myself; I am now more optimistic and fearless than I was 5 years ago.
I will recommend you to read it because it will shape you too. It is not a religious book; for sure, it is a book that everyone should read. It is truly a must-have book.
These books brought me in spirituality increased my love and faith in god. I had read somewhere that you do not choose the book, but the book chooses you at the right time. I started meditation also which I do every day for 15 to 20 minutes. And whenever I feel lazy to do it, I pray for 5 mins every day like a conversation with God.
It just teaches you that you are too small in this world and there is a higher power above you. This will decrease your ego and arrogance.
Spirituality has taught me that there are no good or bad reactions, but your reaction makes a situation favourable or evil.
It has taught me that controlling others is a foolish approach, but controlling your mind and making it your best friend is what a wise will prefer.
My Pet
I have a cute little 4 months old Golden Retriever female dog and her name is Brandy. She is the cutest and most playful dog. She always entertains us and because of her, my home feels like home.
She is very naughty and bites too much. She loves to play tug of war, hide and seek, etc.
She is our first pet, and now I think that everyone should pet a dog once in his/her life. A dog will change the aura of your home and the energy in your life completely. At last, this is me, and this was everything about me. I hope you loved reading and knowing about me.I will be delighted if you learn a little bit from my blogs, and that’s enough for me to keep me going. Thank you, and I welcome you all to my blog.
Lots of love and peace to all of you.
