We here from our parents and elders that becoming successful in life and gaining all the material wealth makes us happy but that is not true. It's a lie that is passed on from generations.

Studies demonstrate that success doesn't make people happier. Happiness follows success, not vice versa. Happier people work better jobs and earn more money, say researchers.

In truth, chasing happiness and wellbeing is better than running after success. Success does not guarantee happiness. It never had, and never will.
